Timber CribTo enable pedestrian access into a new basement car park, Phi Group installed an anchored Timber Crib solution in close proximity to an existing pedestrian footpath. The location of the footpath only 1.5m behind the face of the bank, lead to severe restrictions on working space and temporary works. 3 rows of ground anchors were installed by Phi Group, before facing the anchor heads with a curved Timber Crib wall (8.5m radius), giving the required aesthetic finish. After a trial anchor was installed and tested, the remaining anchors and the 72m2 of Timber Crib were finished within one and a half weeks.
