Phi Group were asked to develop a scheme to facilitate the widening of an access road to the proposed store. The retaining wall is situated at the top of a steep slope on the site boundary. Phi Group's Titan Modular Block was quickly identified as the ideal solution. It makes use of the material being placed to form the access road, to create a reinforced soil mass. The high quality finish of the grey split face blocks, means that there is no need for aesthetic facing. Phi Group also designed and installed Permacrib retaining walls on this project.
