| Work has begun on a new structure for builders merchant Jewson on a nine-acre site called Antelope Park in Southampton. Jewson will relocate from its current premises to a new 21,000 sq ft building at the rear of the site, which is expected to be complete in August this year. |
|
| Before construction of the building could commence a level plateau was required and to solve this problem, main contractor Norwest Holst contracted Phi Group Limited, the retaining structure specialist to design, supply and build two Permacrib timber retaining walls. |

| Another Permacrib retaining wall with a face area of 260 square metres and a maximum height of 5.31 metres was constructed to the front and right side of the building to support the difference in levels |
