wall for the East and West Ramps, with enhanced landscaping and a lighting scheme.
Solution:
Phi Group Limited designed, supplied and built the retaining walls which formed the terraces incorporating the portholes for the lighting scheme. A split face block was selected to give a natural finish, & highlighted using horizontal bands of smooth concrete. The contract involved stabilising existing slopes using soil nails, building up new embankments using reinforced soil techniques and constructing 2700m2 of modular block facing walls. |
