Grow a tree with Phi Group:

In 1983, Phi Group began using plantation grown timber in their innovative timber retaining wall system, Permacrib. At the time, the green issues we are all so familiar with now were almost unheard of, and the use of timber in retaining walls equally so.

Since then Phi have continued to source timber from properly managed plantations and have helped to plant many tens of thousands of replacement trees as a result. Using Permacrib as an alternative to traditional retaining walls has reduced the amount of natural aggregates and raw materials consumed. The Permacrib system not only offers a more sustainable approach, it also has the benefit of achieving cost and programme savings for your project.
