Working for Buckingham Group Contracting Limited, Phi Group are currently on site at Project Dixie, close to Exeter Airport. The Sainsburys Distribution Centre is split into two levels with a large Permacrib Timber Crib retaining wall supporting the car park at the upper level. With retained heights of up to 6.25m, temporary earth works and model size were both an issue. Through continued discussion with the contractor, Phi Group were able to offer the most cost effective and buildable solution. Work is ongoing, and should be completed next month.
