Ively Road Case StudyTwo types of structure were required for a Ministry of Defence road project at Farnborough. The first was an underpass, maintaining local farming access, formed by a box culvert with concrete panel wing walls. The second structure, Howf Bridge, designed to carry a tank transporter with a gross vehicle mass of 99.8 tonnes, used Keller's concrete panels to form the retaining walls on the approaches to the bridge.
